Mandatory Drug Testing
Heard Concrete’s Drug Testing policy follows guidelines established in section C123.42c1 of the Virginia Employment Code. It is provided in writing to every employee. We require a drug screen as a condition of initial employment, and conduct random required drug testing as a condition of continued employment at Heard Concrete. All employees are given the opportunity to enter into Heard Concrete’s assistance program.

At Heard Concrete, we have a strong focus on safety. We believe that all of our employees have a right to be protected from hazards on the job. Fighting work place drug abuse must be based on cooperation, communication and trust. If we see signs of drug abuse in any of our employees, we will take action immediately to help the individual and prevent any additional risk to themselves or their co-workers. We are fighting drug abuse, and we believe that our employees deserve our help. The Heard Concrete Drug Abuse Policy applies to all Heard Concrete employees.
