Elizabeth City Aviation Park Taxiway – Pasquotank County, NC

Heard Concrete Construction formed and placed over 71,000sf of airfield paving. The pavement was 11” thick. Installation included initial sawcut and dowel installation. The mix was a 650 Flex w/ HRWR. Concrete was delivered in ready mix trucks and placed using a truss screed. Lane placements were 25’ wide and averaged 400 yards.
